HELP & TROUBLESHOOTING
Get back to creating.
Start with the problem you can see. Most studio issues come down to a selected layer, the current view, or the browser’s local storage.
My project is not saving
Check the save status above the canvas. The studio uses IndexedDB in your browser, which may be unavailable or full. Private browsing and browser settings can also affect storage. Download a PNG before closing the page so you keep the finished picture.
If storage is available but My projects already holds 20 saved copies, open an older one, download a PNG if you need it, and remove that saved copy. Removing a saved copy does not remove the current canvas. Try Save again afterward.
A saved character is missing
Make sure you are using the same browser, device, and website address where you created it. Local projects do not sync between browsers or domains. Clearing site data can permanently remove them, and MiniMuse Fun has no server copy to restore.
The current draft is separate from the saved copies in My projects. If the draft changed, check My projects for a version you saved earlier. Opening a saved project replaces the current draft; Undo can restore the previous draft during that session.
My PNG will not import
Your art accepts genuine PNG files. Renaming a JPEG or SVG to end in .png does not convert it. Export it as PNG from the app that created it, then try again.
The file must be no larger than 4 MB, with neither dimension above 4096 pixels and no more than 12 million pixels overall. A project supports eight imported images and a character supports 30 layers. Remove an unneeded layer to make room. Imported images are normalized to a maximum edge of 1600 pixels.
A piece is hidden or will not move
Open Layers in Piece settings and select the piece. Check Show, opacity, and its position. Bring forward can move an accessory above a covering layer. Unlock piece enables position, size, rotation, and opacity controls.
Scene character placement uses a different lock from clothing layers. If a whole character will not drag, open Scene and check Lock placement. The layers and poses guide explains both controls.
A pet is missing from my picture
Pets appear in Scene view. Select Scene above the canvas before downloading, open Pets, and check that the pet is visible. If it is behind a character, select Move in front of cast in Pet settings. Arrange pets returns unlocked pets to a row inside the scene.
The download looks different from the editor
Check whether Character or Scene is selected. Export uses that view and removes selection outlines and controls. The face close-up is an editing aid, not a separate export crop. Download options has a preview of the finished composition.
A transparent PNG can look white in a viewer that supplies its own background. Check it over a colored image before assuming transparency was lost. For image sizes and mobile file locations, read the PNG export guide.
The page does not finish loading
The editor requires JavaScript and Canvas 2D. Refresh once, check your connection, and try an up-to-date browser. If an extension blocks scripts or browser storage, review its settings for this site. The text guides remain readable without JavaScript.
For a slower device, use fewer imported images, close unused tabs, or download at a smaller size. The editor does not currently provide a guaranteed offline mode.
